Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of potatoes
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 egg yolks
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into even pieces.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain and return the potatoes to the pot.
- Add butter, egg yolks, salt, and pepper.
- Mash until smooth and creamy.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Transfer the mixture to a piping bag.
- Pipe the potatoes into desired shapes onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add grated cheese to the mixture.
- Use a star tip for decorative piping.
- Can be prepared ahead and reheated.
