Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  6. After cooking, stir in the slurry to thicken the sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
