- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 hoagie rolls
- Provolone cheese slices (optional)
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the beef.
- Pour the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks.
- Serve the shredded beef on hoagie rolls.
- Top with cheese if desired and serve with broth for dipping.
Notes
- Use a lean cut of beef for less grease.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with pickles or chips for a complete meal.
