- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until soft.
- Transfer to the crockpot.
- Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Top with cheese, sour cream, or green onions if desired.
- You can add corn for extra sweetness.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
