- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onions, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Cook the patties on the grill for 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Add cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill.
- Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings.

- You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
