- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil the cabbage until leaves are tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is browned.
- Add cooked rice, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika to the meat mixture.
- Layer cabbage leaves in a baking dish, then add the meat mixture.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Top with shredded cheese if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until heated through.
Notes
- Can use ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
